Latest Critic Reviews. So if you consider yourself a fan of the series: Got get Call of Pripyat! It's definitely the best part of the saga. It's Stalker how it should have been right from the start, even though the graphics are not up to date anymore and the AI has a few problems.
Unlike the previous games which featured a cutscene as part of the ending, Call of Pripyat features a multi-part ending, covering the fate of the different areas and the different major characters encountered in the game.
Call of Pripyat does have a pretty good story, but it takes a long while before things get going. The side missions provide excellent distraction from the main storylines though, as they often explore little side plots that will come back later in the game.
The game serves as a sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. The graphics engine has been updated to version 1.6 and includes DirectX 11 support. However, it still has the same basic system requirements used by all S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.
Volodymyr Yezhov was killed defending the city of Bakhmut in Ukraine's Donetsk region on December 22. He was one of the developers behind the successful video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, which was released in 2008. One of the game's characters, Loki, was based on Yezhov's face.
