Fast paced combat, a deep story and characters, stunning visuals, and a great soundtrack, Scarlet Nexus hits plenty of high notes for people looking for a new action game. A good follow up for the same team that made Code Vein and God Eater.

However, unlike Persona 5, maxing out these relationships doesn't lead to romance. Still, Scarlet Nexus does have romance, but not in the way that many JRPG fans might be hoping for. Instead, romance is weaved within the storyline.

After spending some time with the game, I am happy to say Scarlet Nexus has nothing to do with Dark Soulsor Code Vein. Scarlet Nexus stands out on its own two feet and is one of the best new IPs I have played in quite some time. At the start of the game, the player has a choice to play as one of two characters.

The game was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on June 25, 2021. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise for the combat, but criticism for its side missions. It sold 1 million units by April 2022.

Even though Scarlet Nexus isn't necessarily the most difficult game out there, it can have its challenging moments. If the player wants to overcome those trials, they'll need to be at the top of their game, and one way to do that is by avoiding these mistakes while playing Scarlet Nexus.
