Founded in July 2011 by Dan Vávra and Martin Klíma, the studio produced Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which was released in February 2018. In February 2019, the company was acquired by Plaion.
A sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance is all-but confirmed at this point as it seems that Warhorse has been working on the KCD sequel for over 2 years now (possibly more) due to various subtle (possible hints) many of which have been covered by SxyBiscuit on Youtube.
I think it's a very cool game because it is quite unique and very hardcore. Just understand that it's not a game designed to be a power fantasy. It's designed to be immersive and realistic above all else. You start out as a weakling; the son of a peasant blacksmith and you can grow slightly stronger over time.
On 22 January 2014, Warhorse Studios launched a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter with the goal of generating £300,000, ten percent of the US$5,000,000 budget, in order to prove to investors that there was an audience and desire for the game. By 20 February, the effort had raised a total of £1,106,371.
Albert's quick recognition of the pennant convinces the grandfather that Joey is indeed his horse, and that returning Joey to his care is a better tribute to the memory of Emilie. Finally, Albert is seen returning with Joey to his family's farm, where he hugs his parents and returns the pennant to his father.
